A Roaring Celebration of Motorcycles and Community

This weekend, the Northern Realms crew hit the road and joined the action at the MAG Summer Showcase — a full-throttle celebration of motorcycles and mayhem, held at the fantastic Monkey Pot Café in Selby. Hosted by the absolute dynamos Pinky and JoJo, the event roared to life in aid of Yorkshire Air Ambulance. Let us tell you — the atmosphere was nothing short of electric.

A Day of Norse Chaos

We rolled in with axe throwing and longbow archery, bringing a blast of Norse chaos to the chrome and pistons. Between the roar of engines and the thud of axes, there was never a dull moment. Bikers, spectators, and a few curious wanderers stepped up to the range to test their aim and unleash their inner Viking. Some of them should definitely consider trading handlebars for hatchets.

Engaging with the Community

Of course, we weren’t just throwing steel — we were also chatting to folk and raising funds at our stall for the Norðheim Viking Village project. The response was incredible. People were genuinely excited about the dream, with loads of visitors stopping by to learn more, show support, and ask when they can visit. The answer? Soon as we can build it! The buzz around Norðheim was strong, and it warmed our mead-loving hearts to see so many people believe in the vision.

A Showcase of Incredible Bikes

The bikes on show? Absolute beasts. From vintage beauties to thunderous modern machines, there was no shortage of shiny chrome, custom detail, and pure attitude on two wheels. The banter? Top tier. The crowd was full of characters – warm, welcoming, and ready for a laugh. Just how we like it.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

But the real hero of the day? The cause. Between laughs, throws, revs, and raffles, a whole lot of pennies were raised for Yorkshire Air Ambulance – a vital service that’s saved more lives than we can count. Every donation makes a difference, and it was humbling to be part of such a generous, passionate crowd doing their bit for the community.
