From Abandoned to Adored – Meet Valkyrie, Our Fierce Little Fighter

Every saga has its hero. Ours just happens to be about a kitten.

Just over five weeks ago, a tiny, helpless soul was brought into the veterinary clinic where Donna works — barely a day old, eyes still closed, her mother nowhere to be found. She was cold, alone, and far too young to survive on her own. But fate had other plans.

That’s when we stepped in.

We took on the challenge of hand-rearing her, round the clock — bottle-feeding every few hours, keeping her warm, helping her grow, and cheering her on through every tiny milestone. And now? She’s thriving.

She’s 5 weeks old, fully weaned, litter trained, and already has the stubborn spirit of a shieldmaiden. We named her Valkyrie, because let’s be honest — any creature that small with that much fight deserves a name worthy of the gods.

A few of you may have already met her at events. With feeding so frequent in those early weeks, Valkyrie had to travel with us — napping behind stalls, poking her head out of crates, and generally charming everyone in sight. She’s already a Northern Realms regular and very much part of the tribe.

We’ve now officially welcomed Valkyrie into our home — and our hearts — as the newest member of the Northern Realms clan, joining our four other furry legends: Odyn, Nola, Freya, and Tyr.

Can you sense a theme?

Yep — if they wouldn’t be found in a saga, they’re not joining the family.

Valkyrie is bold, playful, curious, and occasionally a bit of a menace (as all proper kittens should be). From abandoned to adored, this little warrior has already stolen the show — and a few shoes.

So if you see a fluffy tail darting behind the axe stall or catch a pair of bright eyes peeking from under a table at our next event… now you know the legend of Valkyrie.

And the saga continues.

Skol.
