Help Us Awaken Norðheim
What is Norðheim?
Norðheim will be a fully immersive Viking-style camping and glamping experience. Instead of modern pods, you’ll stay in hand-built huts, created in the way our ancestors would have lived.
What will make Norðheim different?
When you step into Norðheim, you’ll step back in time. There will be no phones, no electricity, and no modern gadgets. Instead, you’ll be surrounded by fire, woodsmoke, and the raw beauty of nature.
What will a stay at Norðheim look like?
Each hut will have its own outdoor cooking area, where you’ll be able to create a feast worthy of a Jarl. A central communal firepit will bring everyone together for stories, songs, and laughter under the night sky.
What else do you plan to build?
We want Norðheim to grow into a full Viking settlement. Our plans include:
A Longhouse for feasts, storytelling, and celebrations.
Craft huts for skills such as leatherworking, wool spinning, and weaving.
Workshops on Norse mythology and the legends of the old gods.
Archery and axe-throwing ranges, along with traditional Viking games.
Will Norðheim have an educational side?
Yes. We aim to open Norðheim to schools and home-education groups, giving children the chance to step away from screens and learn about history through real, hands-on experiences. We want them to build memories that last a lifetime.
Will Norðheim be available for events?
That’s the plan. Weddings, birthdays, biker ride-outs, and other large gatherings will all be welcome once Norðheim is built.
How will Norðheim be sustainable?
Our intention is to build every hut using local and reclaimed materials, including items destined for landfill. Norðheim will respect the land it stands on and work in harmony with nature.
So what do you need to make Norðheim real?
Three things:
1: Money
We are fundraising right now to turn this dream into reality. You can support us by:

2: Land
We are searching to lease or buy unused land to bring Norðheim to life. Woodland, grassland, flat or sloped – we’ll consider it all. What matters is that we can secure it long-term. If we raise £50k, we will begin looking to buy land ourselves.
3: You
None of this happens without your support. Share our dream, spread the word, and keep the fire burning.
Where are you looking for land?
We’re focusing within 30 miles of our base, but we’re open to opportunities further afield if the site is perfect for Norðheim.
